Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 15 October 2026

These terms apply to your use of faintnode.online, which is published by indefinido trade s.r.o., Křižovnická 86/6, Staré Město, 110 00 Praha 1, Czech Republic, company registration number 03663027. Reading the site means accepting them. If you do not accept them, the remedy is to stop reading, and nothing further is required of you.

1. What this site is

Faintnode publishes a five-step informational course about online multiplayer PC games, written for a general adult readership in Australia. It is general information and nothing more. It is not professional, legal, financial, consumer or security advice, it is not tailored to your circumstances, and it must not be relied on as a substitute for advice from someone qualified to give it for your situation.

2. It is not accredited training

This is not accredited or recognised training of any kind. There is no enrolment, no assessment, no qualification, no certificate and no record of completion. Nobody is awarded anything for reading it, and nothing here may be presented as a credential.

3. Product details change

Anything the course says about how products in this category generally work is a description of a moving target. System requirements, prices, terms, privacy notices, features and the contents of a game change without notice and without our knowledge. Where a specific product is named, check its vendor's own website for current details. We do not reproduce vendor information here precisely because a copy goes out of date.

4. Third-party websites

The course links to Australian government websites, and to one commercial website through a paid affiliate link described on the Affiliate Disclosure page. None of those sites is under our control. We are not responsible for their content, their availability, their accuracy or their handling of your information, and a link is not an endorsement. Once you follow one, that site's own terms and privacy policy apply.

5. Accuracy and availability

The course is written carefully and reviewed twice a year, but it may still contain errors and parts of it may become outdated between reviews. We make no promise that the site will be available at any particular time or free of interruption. Corrections are welcome at info@faintnode.online.

6. Copyright and use

The text, layout, code and illustrations on this site belong to indefinido trade s.r.o. You may read them, print them and keep printed copies for your own use, including the checklists, which exist to be printed. Republishing substantial parts of the site elsewhere requires our written permission. Brand names mentioned belong to their owners, as set out in the notice in the footer of every page.

7. Your responsibilities

Decisions about what software to install, what account to create and what to spend are yours. The course describes a method for making those decisions; it does not make them, and it does not require you to buy anything in order to complete any part of it.

8. Liability and your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law. Those guarantees apply in full and take precedence over anything in this document.

Subject only to that, and to the maximum extent the law permits, indefinido trade s.r.o. is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from reliance on its general information, and where liability for a service cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to supplying the information again.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised. When they are, the effective date above is updated, and the version published here is the one that applies from that date.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, where indefinido trade s.r.o. is established, and the Czech courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. That choice does not displace any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of your own country of residence, including the Australian Consumer Law for readers in Australia, and does not deprive you of the right to bring proceedings where that law permits.
